Anime Review for...OTOME YOUKAI ZAKURO!!!!
An anime set in the almost Meji era, I think. About 4 half-spirit girls, who begin (unwillingly in Zakuro's case) to work with the millitary to exterminate evil spirits. (I think. Ish. I watch it-doesn't mean I get it.) So, it's really cool. I like it alot-plenty of action, comedy, even romance. It's cool! Yea Zakuro! (Hey! Am I a flower? A butterfly? An orge? Misery in the world. Is violence the answer? Dash of rouge turns to blade in hand. Do praise my efforts. Bravo! Bravo! Bravo! -Otome Youkai Zakuro)

Clarification on Meghan's post (AKA Ellie ramblings)
No, Toushirou is not shirtless. I'm not that big of a fangirl. Vampire Knight is not like Twilight, except that you have two guys fighting over the heroine who turns into a vampire. That'd be the only similarity.
Clairifing stuff on the SOS Brigade now. We will cosplay (the good type, not the...yeah. Need I say more?) and hopefully do anime-related activities, which we've thought of ideas for, but haven't...let's just say, progress needs to be made on ideas. If you have any ideas, feel free to share! Um, I have absolutely no idea what else to say, so I'll review the best anime in the world, Kuroshitsuji, and be on my merry way!
Kuroshitsuji (English translation-Black Butler)
My personal favorite, Kuroshitsuji is a funny and highly-intense anime with plenty of action and comedy. You predict an episode to have a serious tone, but then it turns into all fun and games. The characters are highly unpredictable, so you can never really guess what'll happen next. Overall, it's great, but be aware of mature themes. (Not, like, yeah, but, like, yeah. Blood-stuff. Yeah.) I love it because it's funny and (ignoring season 2! IGNORING SEASON 2!) doesn't have a happy ending. (Yea!) Kuroshitsuji <3

Hello and Welcome!
Good morning everyone! ^-^
I welcome you to the SOS Brigade blog! We are (surprisingly enough) an OFFICIAL student organization at Tabor Academy. Welcome welcome welcome!
Okay, so now that's over with. It's hard to sound exciting when you've only gotten up an hour ago.
So the SOS Brigade is the new Anime/Manga club that Ellie and I founded. We are super intimidating...freshmen. The teensy ones at the school. Oh well.
So, if you happen to be blind to one of the greatest genres of Television on the planet, you might be wondering what anime is. Anime are Japanese cartoons. Not like Tom and Jerry or Looney Toons, rather, they are amazingly wonderful with long stories, plot twists, alternate universes, you name it, anime's got em. It's a pretty widespread genre, in fact you can't just call it a single genre. It's loosely divided into two categories, Shojo and Shonen. Shonen is the more popular of the two, the "guy" anime. Girls, including myself, do watch it as well of course. Famous ones that I've heard of include Death Note and Bleach (current favorite). Shojo is not as popular, but it is certainly watched by many. Shojo is "girly" anime. Romance and stuffs. Often times it's kind of stupid and funny, and famous ones include Ouran Highschool Host Club and Vampire Night (anime version of Twillight in some aspects).
When people announced the clubs, we were both annoyed to learn that there was no anime club. So we set out to find fellow anime lovers and started this club. A good number of people have said that they would like to join, so you just have to hang tight until we can get a meeting. Our origional plan was to have it during a meeting block, but we're trying to find a good meeting block that people can actually come to. That's not as easy as it sounds, so we're thinking that the first meeting may have to be after school. Ehh, oh well. Perhaps wednesday after classes? No idea. Just be patient.
Of course my free is over, so I have to go to English. I'll be cutting this post short by a bit, sorry.

I also have to yell at Ellie for putting a large shirtless picture of Toshiro in the background. Jeez, he's just an anime character.
